Outdoor Soccer - Spring 2010

The Hidden Valley outdoor soccer program runs between April 26^th and June 26^th 2010.  For registration information, please refer to the registration page. The soccer program is a parental coached grass roots soccer program. For a list of all the volunteer positions please refer to HV Volunteers.  For U4-U10 programs all games are played in Hidden Valley, and are controlled by the parent coaches.  No scores are kept, and no league table will be created.  Each team will play 2 games per week.  Practice time will be a part of the game time.

We recommend that you provide cleats and shin pads for your child (this is not mandatory until U12). For the U4 / U6 programs we will provide your child with a t-shirt, photo, and a participant medal. For the U8 / U10 / U12 / U14 programs we will provide a soccer shirt, shorts, socks, photo and a participant medal.  If you have any questions regarding equipment please send an email to sports@hiddenhut.com.

There will be a wrap up party on June 26^th.  This wrap up party will involve a mini tournament for the U10 and U12 age groups. After registration you will be contacted by your coach approximately 1 week before the season starts.

New to the U12 Program for 2010: In an effort to make sure everyone involved with the U12 program understand all the rules of the program, all children registered in the U12 program, their coaches and the Hidden Valley referees will be meeting from 10:30-12pm on April 17th 2010 at the Hidden Hut. This is a mandatory meeting. During this time all players will be told who their coaches are and introduced to them. Shirts, shorts and socks will also be handed out at this session. We will have an information session where the rules will be discussed, a training session, and a mini game. We also welcome parents to hang around and learn the rules of the game.

The U14 program is new to Hidden Valley this year. We will need 16 boys or/and 16 girls to create a team. Please register early so we know if we can apply to play in the league. A full refund will be given if a team cannot be made.
